The 6th Floor Blog: Now That’s What We Call a Softball Jersey

Avid followers of The New York Times Magazine softball team may remember that last year's season was, by standard measures, not exactly a winning one. (Definitions of "win" have been known to vary.) But this year we have already scored a victory with our new jerseys, designed by Christoph Niemann, possibly while he was was running a marathon. Judging by T-shirt sales alone, it appears that our roster this year has tripled in size — although numbers were slightly skewed by Lauren (The Killer Within) Kern, who purchased two for herself, despite concerns that our outfielders "will blend in with the grass."

With the new embrace of green, it is only appropriate that our first game, against New York Magazine, occur on Tax Day. Check back next week for the results.
